Meal Plan 7/10-7/23

My boyfriend has requested no chicken for a little while, that's a little hard for me because I don't always want ground meat. We both give and take so these two weeks I decided to skip chicken.

Normally I would make Alfredo sauce myself but I have a couple jars of Alfredo sauce that need to get eaten up. We haven't had seafood that much lately and I prefer to have some wort of protein with my pasta. I'll most likely add peas in to mine to have some sort of vegetable. I would say I probably make pork tacos very differently from other people. I buy a whole boneless pork loin from Sam's Club and cut pork chops from that. Once it gets to the smaller end I cut it into small cubes and use that for pork tacos. What ever meat is left from tacos I turn that into nachos the next night. Lately my mother in law has been watching my little one on Thursday's to I can get some sleep, I keep that in mind when I plan out my meals. Usually I'll plan for an easy and quick meal that only takes a few minuets to make and has very little clean up after. Even though it says grilled cheese, I'd say they're more like panini's because we put whatever meat we have already cooked up or lunch meat on them.

I haven't made a meatloaf since I started dating my boyfriend, so we'll see how this goes. I've been wanting sour cream meatballs, it's similar to Swedish meatballs but the sauce is thicker and has sesame seeds in it as well. I love making pork tenderloin because the left over meat is great for sandwiches. I have tater tot casserole that I already made and froze for easy dinner nights.
